My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun;
Coral is far more red, than her lips red:
If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun;
If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head.
I have seen roses damasked, red and white,
But no such roses see I in her cheeks;
And in some perfumes is there more delight
Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks.
I love to hear her speak, yet well I know
That music hath a far more pleasing sound:
I grant I never saw a goddess go,
My mistress, when she walks, treads on the ground:
And yet by heaven, I think my love as rare,
As any she belied with false compare.

A very humble personal site that someday plan to expand into my own domain, as soon as I have the time to pull it out.

My very first
Curious Labs Poser products store. Right now my products are available in most specialty stores.
I am glad you found your way to this page by and I hope you might enjoy your visit. My name is Carlos Terán, but I am known as carlos-teran in DeviantART (so much for the creativity there, right?). I have been interested on computer graphics for a few years, but when I discovered this program, Curious Labs Poser...well you know how some people can get addicted to it...so my interest became my passion. Then I came across discreet 3D Studio Max and my fingers took over. It is almost as much fun as anything else I can think of... almost... My graphics are a personal expression of my own self, and are not intended to reproduce truthfully this collective dream we call reality. So, I do hope you will enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed creating them. You'll find in my gallery a blend of fantasy and erotic art, romance and tenderness for every taste and preference. You'll also notice that I don't enclose myself in a single style or theme. Also, if you visit my On-line Prints Store, you'll find a selection of the graphics I enjoy the most for sale as high quality prints, or if you're looking for Curious Labs Poser tools, check out my products available at major 3D stores.

Darren McGavin. May 7, 1922 - February 25, 2006.

I was deeply touched by the news of
Darren McGavin's death. For those of you, too young to remember him, he was a wonderful character actor, who graced the silver screen in memorable roles, such as
Carl Kolchak in
Kolchak: The Night Stalker and
Agent Arthur Dales in
The X-Files (actually, his portrayal in
Kolchak was the main inspiration to create
Fox Mulder's character). I remember clearly a night in 1976, the first time I had the chance to enjoy his performance as an everyday reporter who usually found himself alone, against supernatural creatures. Needless to say that I was always scared to death with
Kolchak and the back of my neck stills feels weird when I listen the show's tune. He was a very important part of my childhood, and reminds me very fond memories of sleepless nights along my parents, enjoying his wit and charisma. A part of me has passed away with him, and I'll cherish those memories. So long,
Darren.
Dennis Weaver. June 4, 1924 - February 24, 2006.

I couldn't believe when he passed away, as I had just saw him a few months ago in a
Discovery Channel special about ecologically-correct fuels and in a small part in ABC's
Wildfire. Once again, as I'm sure you're way too young to remember him,
Dennis Weaver was an accomplished actor, very popular for his portrayal of a US Marshall from Taos (NM), assigned for duty with the NYPD in
McCloud, a great police drama that aired from 1970 to 1977. He was also in the first movie ever directed by
Steven Spielberg,
The Duel. In my family, it was a tradition to enjoy
McCloud after dinner at weekends, and I still enjoy it, despite the years. I'm gonna miss him too. Hasta la vista,
Dennis.

This has been a GREAT month!. It's a shame time isn't a cyclic experience...
or is it?. Anyway, check out my
Star Trek: Deep Space 9 stamp series!.

My first product for Poser,
Eyes Mega Pack that features 120 different eye textures for
V3 is already for sale at
Renderotica,
3D Commune,
Renderosity,
Animotions and
PoserPros. It has been a great experience so far, and I'm working right away in my next product.

My next product will be
Rainbow Nails, a pack with over 60 real nail textures, with a very silken look and nice reflections, just for the finishing touch that every graphic needs. Also, I'll be working on several eye texture packs for
3DC's Alexa 2.0.
Silver Moon Publishing (UK) will be publishing my upcoming graphic novel (still with just a working title that promises to deliver 60 pages of fun) as well as my participation in an 3D art book that will feature 5 other artists from
Renderotica. There's also a monthy 32-pages Sci-Fi comic book of mine soon to be published in the UK, so stay tuned for more news on this subject.

I'm quite a comics fan, so it was only proper that eventually I would end creating 3D graphics of heroes. My new graphics (featuring characters from
DC Comics,
Marvel Comics and many others, will be available at
Animotions, along with my products in their store. Check them out!.

I'm still working in
Kimi's Dream, a 15 minutes HD 3D animation project for
DK Studios, probably finished in a couple of months. My main concern right now on this project is the original music and some editing problems.

At last you can buy the
Episode 0 of
Eternal Minuet, a digital comic featured in the December Issue of
Renderotica Magazine, created in colaboration with my good ol' pal
David Nieto. I trully recommend it. The magazine is $25.00 US Dlls in CD version and $15.00 US Dlls in download. You can check out an early draft of the first page in my scraps section, as well as promotional material for the series, that is a solo adventure from yours truly. The
Episode 1 is already completed and scheduled for release in April's issue of
Renderotica Magazine, and I'm already working in the following episode, that will feature a story co-written with my friend
Ramiro Treviño. Chinese martial arts, werewolves, guns... what else could be more fun?.

I'm also a featured artist in the british site
Sublime Blue, where you'll find some erotic artwork not available here or at
Renderotica. Check it out.

Some of my old angel artwork has been featured in
Desktop Angels.

Visit the site and store of my good friend
Yanelis Barros. You will enjoy her selection of Poser textures and clothing for V3.
Most people have asked me why I have disabled the comments feedback in all my graphics. The main reason is that I consider a comment as a personal-basis experience, so I honestly prefer a note, rather than a public comment. So far I've been told that having disabled the comments precludes the chance of getting the same kind of exposure that would have been possible if they were active, but I disregard that as the price of playing the game.
My recent graphics are available as Mouse Pads (for your turbo-ninja-ultra-rapper-cool-mega-funky-loony mouse) and Postcards (for everyone that still has fondess for snail mail).
Something must be done regarding an old illness of this site: the Professional Commenter. The profile of such person is a very simple one. This character is someone whose only contribution to the community is just a significant amount of comments and nevertheless features a personal gallery without any deviation on it, or someone who comments on a tone that ranges from offensive to dogmatic, without any meaningful body of works on her/his gallery on the subject he/she is commenting. This trend was very notorious last year, and has ceased somewhat, but it's still omnipresent. Even when I'm aware that everybody is entitled to express an opinion, it's also plain to see that this site isn't a school of arts, where you must be constrained into a rigid mind frame that must be followed. If we're not allowed to express ourselves freely, without the fear of being harshly attacked by some wanna-be critic, this place will become more of a mine field, and less of a community.

My father
Prof. José Z. Terán has a
wonderful book about the town in the northeast of México where my ancestors have lived for generations. It's entitled
"San Carlos: La Huella De Los Tiempos" (San Carlos: The Track Of Times) and it's right now in its
Third Printing. It deals with both historical and human facts on how that community has grown in hundreds of years since the Spanish era. It's also about my roots, and I'm so proud on how my father has worked on this for over a decade, and how I have his legacy to carry on. This book includes some beautiful landscapes that are now posted here at
DeviantART for viewing in post-card style in my gallery and also available as prints.

My father's new book,
"La Tierra En Que Nací" (The Land Where I Was Born) captures the evolution of my family over centuries and captures his personal view of the small town in northeast México from the stand point of view of a loving son who cherishes his roots. Some of the pictures featured on that book will soon be posted in my gallery in post-card style, also available as prints.
Most of my graphics are available for free in Webshots format. Webshots is a free program that allows you to manage your wallpapers in collections, and resize any graphic into the correct aspect of your screen in a transparent fashion, without problems and in a few seconds. If you wish a collection of my graphics, send me a note and I'll gladly transfer you my files in high resolution format. And, you can also ask me for any dpi resolution or pixel aspect ratio you might need for your screen.
Fight Back Art Piracy.
If you have a specific question, or a request or idea for a graphic, please feel free to send me a note at any time. I'm open to ideas and suggestions.
No, I'm not into 3D contests and I don't create commissioned art.
